A solution that makes it easier to get around

Virtual fares make it easier to access public transportation and give you a new way to buy passes. With this feature, you can buy fares anywhere, anytime, and then use them right on your phone. The app also makes it easy to choose fares based on your trips. This solution is suitable for everyone, regulars and occasional riders alike!

Fares available for purchase

Most regular fares will be available as virtual fares, including:

All Modes: A, AB, ABC, ABCD
Bus and Out-of-Territory Bus
Unlimited Evening and Unlimited Weekend

Some fares, including reduced fares, are not yet available for this feature. For the fares that can’t yet be purchased as virtual fares, users can still get them with the OPUS Reload feature.

Key points

  • This feature is currently available for Android only

  • Fares are stored in the app, not a digital wallet

  • The virtual cards are separate from physical OPUS cards.

  • Fares can’t be transferred to an OPUS card.
