Fare reform - Zone B

How are you affected?

In effect as of July 2022
  • RTL and STL fares, as well as TRAM 3 fares, will no longer be sold. These fares will be replaced by Bus or All Modes AB fares, depending on your destination.
  • You will need to purchase an All Modes AB fare to travel between zone A (Agglomeration of Montréal) and zone B (Laval or Agglomeration of Longueuil).
  • You will need to purchase an All Modes AB fare to travel between the Agglomeration of Longueuil (zone B) and Laval (zone B), as you’ll be travelling through the Agglomeration of Montréal (zone A).
  • The All Modes AB and Bus fares are the main fares available in your zone.

The new fare schedule will come into effect on July 1.

Good to know

Before choosing your fare, make sure it is valid in the zone you are departing from, the zone(s) you will travel through and the zone you will arrive in.

All Modes AB

This fare allows you to travel within and between zones A and B on paratransit vehicles and by metro, train, bus and REM (once in service).

All Modes ABC

This fare allows you to travel within and between zones A, B and C on paratransit vehicles and by metro, train, bus and REM (once in service).

All Modes ABCD

This fare allows you to travel within and between zones A, B, C and D on paratransit vehicles and by metro, train, bus and REM (once in service).

Bus

This fare allows you to travel on paratransit vehicles within and between zones B and C on the same shore.

  • Between the Agglomeration of Longueuil and the southern suburbs
  • Between Laval and the northern suburbs

If you want to travel to zone A or travel from one shore to the other, you must purchase an All Modes fare.

You can also travel on certain buses in the regular network with this fare. Please note that this fare is not valid on all bus lines. View the list of excluded bus lines.

Out-of-Territory Bus

This fare allows you to travel on paratransit vehicles and on some buses in the regular network within and between zones B, C and D on the same shore.

  • Between the Agglomeration of Longueuil, the southern suburbs and out-of-territory municipalities located on the South Shore
  • Between Laval, the northern suburbs and out-of-territory municipalities located on the North Shore

You will be able to purchase your monthly pass for July as of June 20, 2022, and 1-trip passes as of July 1, 2022, at various points of sale. If you are a subscriber, you will be contacted by your subscription manager with instructions on how to proceed for July 1, 2022.

Find a point of sale near you among the hundred or so locations in the Greater Montréal area. Inquire about passes before travelling, as some passes are not available everywhere.
